Methods to remember number to letter in Major System
Unassigned letters = All vowels, h, w, y - Used only to fill the gaps between consonants as "fillers" to form a word to be used as a stored image. eg. Daisy -The a, i and y are the "fillers" d = 1 and s = 0 thus Daisy = 10.
Remember it is the phonic sound that counts for example Gnome would be 23 because the G is silent and only the n and m are sounded in the word. Match would be 36 because its the M and ch are prominent m =3 ch = 6.
Double letters count as one phonetic sound for example lorry would be 54 L = 5 and the rr counts as 4 not 44.
